Beanie Season is almost over!

Lol, I’m not sure if there is such a thing as Beanie season. But I do know that I have a basket sitting beside my couch with lots of unfinished projects. Most of them are beanies and a few scarfs. My beanie inventory is very low, since I sold mostly beanies at the holiday craft fairs. Plus, I have a few back orders, there’s the guy who bought a gray and black beanie he wants a matching scarf. The lady who loves to walk around the property for exercise, bought a black and yellow beanie with a flower on the side. Her grand Daughter took one look at that beanie and decided she wanted it, so the grand Mother had to order another beanie for herself. I had an order for a red and green beanie, with gold sparkles for a Christmas present, but I had to turn the order down. I was going out of town for the holidays and didn’t have enough time to finish it. Not to mention, I was in the middle of making a blue speckled beanie for my new great Grandson. So, I need to get busy finishing all these projects because before you know it beanie season will be over. Hope you finished all your 2024 projects.

Happy beanie season stay busy!

Hi I’m Deb,

I’m a Crafter specializing in Loom Knitting. My passion is to explore my creativity.

I’m currently Semi Retired.

I make Beanies, Scarves and other loom knit items.

I enjoy teaching others how to loom knit, hoping they will enjoy it as much as I do.

In 2023, I started teaching free basic beginner Loom Knitting classes to Seniors Citizens in their apartment Recreation Centers. Most of them had never loom knitted before but caught on quickly. I provide each person with looms, hooks and yarn.

There are many benefits to Loom knitting. Here are pictures of some completed projects students made after a few months of classes.
