Projects I finished in 2024

Here’s some loom knitted projects; I completed this year while teaching my students how to loom knit.

With the Two-Tone Blue yarn that was gifted to our class, I made a Beanie. It was donated to Foster Care Kids in Riverside California along with 30 Beanies made by my students. The water bottle holder was commissioned and was given to a tenant that enjoys walking a lot but was not carrying any water with her in the summer heat. A student gave me this blue specked yarn, and I made a small baby beanie. My friend that started me off on this loom knitting journey came to visit her family. While she was here, she stopped by my loom knitting class and gave us a lesson, in adding beads to your beanie. So, I made this black and gray beanie with beads and a pompom. Lots of people have attempted to buy it from me, because they are Raider Fans. I plan to finish the black and gray scarf I started to match this beanie, then maybe I will sell the set. The last item I finished was during our market bag class, I love how it turned out but so far, I’ve only put a loaf of bread in it. I have lots of UFO that I hope to finish in 2025.

As you can see there are lots of items you can make with those little round looms.

I will try to do more posting about my loom knitting journey in 2025. Have a gr8 year!

Hi I’m Deb,

I’m a Crafter specializing in Loom Knitting. My passion is to explore my creativity.

I’m currently Semi Retired.

I make Beanies, Scarves and other loom knit items.

I enjoy teaching others how to loom knit, hoping they will enjoy it as much as I do.

In 2023, I started teaching free basic beginner Loom Knitting classes to Seniors Citizens in their apartment Recreation Centers. Most of them had never loom knitted before but caught on quickly. I provide each person with looms, hooks and yarn.

There are many benefits to Loom knitting. Here are pictures of some completed projects students made after a few months of classes.
